If you're looking for a place to stay to attend one of the most iconic and historic events, you've come to the right place!

By staying at Hotel San Gregorio, you can comfortably reach Siena, 55 km away from our hotel, while enjoying the tranquility and beauty of a typical Renaissance village like Pienza. Not only that: while being close to the venue of the Palio, you will avoid having to pay Siena's unaffordable rates during that period.

This is an example of the things you can do in a three-day stay:
 
  • Friday: you can enjoy an afternoon at the hot springs in Bagno Vignoni or Bagni San Filippo, just 20 minutes away.
  • Saturday: a fantastic horseback ride through the hills. And when you come back, a real Tuscan dinner at our restaurant La Piazzetta.
  • Sunday: explore Siena through and through. Walk through the streets to discover its sights, such as the cathedral, the Palazzo Pubblico (town hall), the Baptistery and, of course, Piazza del Campo, where the Palio will be held.
